Can you
? pour a perfect pint without creating a foam mountain?
? Know the difference between a rum and a whisky?
? Keep your cool when the bar’s three-deep?
? Smile through the rush and still remember who’s next and what they drink?
? Know the difference between sarcasm as humour and have a sharp wit
If the answer is yes, you might be our kind of human.
? What you’ll do:
? Serve drinks quickly and spot-on
? Chat, laugh, and understand the word “banter”
? Know that “bar closing” doesn’t mean “I’ve finished” – there’s all the back room stuff to do to keep the bar the best in the area.
? You are:
? Fast on your feet
? Cool under pressure
? Have the best “bar face” in the business
? Experienced behind a bar — or a quick learner with the right energy
? Strong and healthy (there’s a lot of barrel lifting)
? Evening/weekend availability is vital (we don’t do very late nights, we do great nights)
